Club Officers Elected at 2016 Annual Meeting

Members of the Wally Byam Caravan Club International’s (WBCCI) Amateur Radio Club elected officers for 2016-2017 at its annual business meeting. The meeting was held this year in Lewisburg, West Virginia, on July 2, 2016.

Newly elected club officers are:

  • President – Bruce Fried, K5YXN
  • 1st Vice President – Steve Padgett, K4NM
  • 2nd Vice President – Jeff Dalrymple, N5YEI
  • 3rd Vice President – Don Williams, KD6UVT
  • Secretary/Treasurer – Doug Hart, N1JBG
  • Recording Secretary -John Green, W9CJX
  • Director and Immediate Past President – Joel Ware, KD7QKK
  • Director – John Green, W9CJX

The WBCCI Amateur Radio Club sponsors the RV Service Net.

WBCCI Amateur Radio Club VEs to give exams in Lewisburg, WV

If you are going to be in Lewisburg, WV, this summer and are thinking about earning or upgrading your FCC issued amateur radio license, you need to start studying for your new ticket. The Amateur Radio Club of the WBCCI / RV Service Net announces that its ARRL VE team will conduct a test session at the WBCCI International Rally’s cafeteria on Thursday, June 30 at 2 p.m (Eastern).

The exam session will be for the Technician, General and Extra class amateur radio licenses.  Please contact Joel, W4VL, for more information about this exam session.

77 years! July 15-17, 2011 – Always the third full weekend in July!

You can still register for the 77th annual Glacier Waterton International Hamfest.  Registrations received before June 15 include ALL prize draws & Sunday Breakfast burrito.

The W7G call sign has been reserved for the station, and it looks like HRO and will be there!
